<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally keep occupant restraining performance of a seat belt device for a front seat, and to improve reliability in a vehicle having the so- called double-leafed hinged door having no center pillar. <P>SOLUTION: An anchor bracket 44 integral with a lap anchor 42 is driven downward by an anchor driving mechanism when transferring to a closing state from an opening state of a rear door 3, and is also driven up to an upper position causing no hindrance to opening-closing of the rear door 3 by a return mechanism composed of a stopper pin 59 and a spring 57 when transferring to the opening state from the closing state of the rear door 3. Locking in a lower position of the anchor bracket 44 by the stopper pin 59 is released by interlocking by cables 65 and 66 being a connecting means by operation of a rear door inner handle 7 being an opening operation mechanism.
