PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified supporting system for confirming a position that easily enables the confirmation of the position of an object to be confirmed. SOLUTION: The simplified supporting system for confirming the position to support for simply confirming the position of the object comprises a storing means 10d1 for storing place name information to store the place name information indicating the place name responding to every position, a fetching means 10a1 for fetching the position information to fetch the position information indicating the present position of the detected object, an extracting means 10a2 for extracting the place name information to extract the place name information responding to the position information fetched with the fetching means 10a1 from the storing means 10d1, a creating means 10a3 for creating support information to create the support information for displaying the place name information extracted with the extracting means 10a2, and an outputting means 10a4 for outputting the support information to output the support information created with the creating means 10a3 for the displaying.
