<p>The invention concerns a method for obtaining a composite multiply wooden section for use in joinery work, in particular but not exclusively for producing outdoor joinery work items. The invention is characterized in that said wooden section (4) consists of an outer ply (3) made of stratified material based on high-pressure laminated duromer, the other plies (1, 2) being plies made of natural wood species; prior to bonding, the wooden strips are previously brought to a wood moisture content of 8 %. The invention also concerns the wooden sections obtained by said method and all joinery work item produced by machining said wooden section. The invention is, for instance, applicable to production of outdoor joinery work items.</p> |
