MORTAR COMPOSITION

A method of preparing a mortar composition, which comprises kneading mortar materials comprising 25 to 45 parts by weight of a high-early-strength portland cement, 40 to 60 parts by weight of sand, 0.05 to 0.12 parts by weight of a polycarboxylic acid type water-reducing agent powder, and 10 to 25 parts by weight of water and containing no organic adhesive. The kneading is accomplished by stirring the mortar materials with a stirrer at least until the stirring load abruptly decreases. In the mortar composition thus prepared, the cement particles are in the state of being evenly dispersed in water. The composition hence highly penetrates into the surface to be bonded to attain a high bonding strength after curing.
