A method for extracting algorithmic information from a message having associated arguments, each argument having an associated value, includes the step of identifying the message as algorithmic information. The first time the value of an argument is encountered, it is identified as parameter information. Each subsequent time the value of the argument is encountered it is identified as algorithmic information. A corresponding system and method is also described.
