<p>Mortar compsn. based on cement and classified sand contains 0.1-1.5% wt. methylcellulose, and 1-10% wt. copolymer of 20-80% wt. vinyl chloride and 20-80% wt. vinyl propionate. The mortar compsn. may also contain 5-25% wt. pumice. The mortar compsn. is especially useful for fixing tiles. The compsn. has good bonding power, dimensional stability, insensitivity towards water and moisture, and may be stored for long periods.</p> |
