PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thoracic vent tool improved to surely find a body cavity having a fluctuated fluid pressure, and discharge the fluid from the body cavity. SOLUTION: The thoracic vent kit has a reservoir 16, a guiding port 22 and a catheter port 24. A detachable connula is small enough to fit in a catheter 20, but has an inner diameter capable of housing a soft guide wire. The connula has a chamfered tip end 74 and a lure thread cut cap 72 at the opposite end part. A detachable plug has a chamfer capable of being used for sealing a lure passage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
