PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing riboflavin in a high yield and a high production rate by improving dispersibility of a vegetable oil or an animal oil to a culture medium in the method for culturing a riboflavin producing microorganism in the culture medium comprising the vegetable oil or the animal oil as a carbon source, producing, accumulating the riboflavin and then collecting. SOLUTION: The method allows the coexistence of a support comprising a clay mineral having an oil absorbing property or a product of a chemical treatment on the mineral or a calcium compound in the culture medium.
