PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly operative and durable endoscope. SOLUTION: The endoscope has a bendable insertion portion flexible tube (a flexible tube for the endoscope) 2 and has granular lubricants therein. The average grain sizes of the lubricants 4 vary in the first area and second area of the flexible tube 2. Various kinds of tubes, such as a second protective tube 312 of an image guide 31, a protective tube 321 of a light guide 32, a tube 33 for inserting a forceps, an air feeding tube 34 and a liquid feeding tube 35, and various members, such as wires 36, configurate the first area and optical fibers forming the image guide 31 and the light guide 32 configurate the second area.
