PURPOSE: Provided is a heat resistant and corrosion resistant inorganic coating composition which has both heat resistance, and corrosion resistance with heat resistance. CONSTITUTION: The coating composition comprises an inorganic primary coating composition consisting of vehicle, heat resistant filler, curing agent, ceramic pigment and an inorganic top coating composition consisting of vehicle, heat resistant filler, and ceramic pigment. The coating composition is characterized in that the primary coating composition comprises, as the vehicle, 15-30 wt% of water-dispersive alkali silicate represented by formula: nM2O·mSiO2·xH2O (wherein M is alkali metal or ammonium salt, each of n, m, and x is an integer of 1-28), 15-30 wt% of water-dispersive silica, and 1-4 wt% of water-dispersive silica coated with organic functional silane compound, and the top coating composition comprises, as the vehicle, 25-60 wt% of reactant obtained by hydrolyzing water-dispersive alumina with organic functional silane compound.
