PURPOSE: A thermoplastic elastomer composition, its preparation method and a hose using the composition are provided, to improve the compression set by effectively suppressing the degradation of a thermoplastic olefin-based resin. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of dynamically crosslinking 35-85 wt% of an α-olefin-based rubber composition comprising 100 parts by weigh of an α-olefin-based rubber and 0.1-10 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent, with 10-35 wt% of a thermoplastic olefin-based resin; and adding 5-30 wt% of a thermoplastic olefin-based resin to the obtained one and mixing them. Preferably the thermoplastic olefin-based resin is selected from the group consisting of polypropylene homopolymer, propylene-ethylene block copolymer whose ethylene content is 2-60 wt% and propylene-ethylene random copolymer whose ethylene content is 1.5-20 wt%. |
