<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable protecting cloth capable of preventing the development of unravelment of a cut part of a cable sheath that covers a cable for devices including an industrial robots and that makes easy the covering work to the cable. <P>SOLUTION: Velcro (R) fasteners 3/4 are provided on both edges in a winding direction of a cloth 2 constituting a main material of the cable protecting sheath, and one of the fasteners in attached to the surface, and the other to the back. Furthermore, a pair of parallel stitches 5 is provided at an appropriate interval in such a way as to intersect with the fasteners 3/4 at right angles. Even if the unravelment that is caused to occur to the cut part of the cloth 2 develops after covering the cable, the stitches 5 provided crossing the fasteners 3/4 at right angles can prevent its development. Also, in covering the cable sheath 1 onto the cable, the covering work can easily be done by winding the cloth 2 constituting the main material of the cable sheath onto the cable, thereby attaching each of the fasteners 3/4 provided in pair securely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
