PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the connecting structure of the superstructure work and substructure work of a bridge, in which the substructure work and the superstructure work are fastened surely without hardly lowering the strength of the superstructure work, and its construction method. SOLUTION: In the bridge composed of the substructure work 1 as a foundation and the superstructure work 3, which is placed on the top face of the substructure work 1, to which a box-shaped section 2 is formed partially and which is made of steel, steel frames 4 are buried on the substructure work 1 side in the vertical direction, one ends of PC steel materials 5 are fixed onto the steel frames 4 while the other ends of the PC steel materials 5 are exposed from the top face of the substructure work 1, and inserted into the box-shaped section 2 from inserting holes 6 formed to the box-shaped section 2, and the other ends of the PC steel materials 5 are fixed into the box-shaped section 2 and fastened onto anchors 7.
