PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture-proof laminate having good disintegrating property with water and exhibiting excellent moisture-proofness even at a small coating amount or under a highly humid condition. SOLUTION: The moisture-proof composition contains a swelling inorganic laminar compound and a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing an aromatic vinyl monomer, an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer and an unsaturated fatty acid monomer and containing the unsaturated fatty acid monomer accounting for 5-40 mass% of the total monomer components. The moisture-proof laminate is produced by forming a moisture-proof layer containing a swelling inorganic laminar compound and a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing an aromatic vinyl monomer, an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer and an unsaturated fatty acid monomer and containing the unsaturated fatty acid monomer accounting for 5-40 mass% of the total monomer components on the surface of a paper substrate.
