<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image by which an image with high image density and high picture quality can be formed in the process of forming an image by developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive layer of a photoreceptor with single-component toner. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprising a colorant and a binder resin as the basic composition contains fluorocarbon resin.
