PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic shock absorbing and damping arrangement particularly for a vehicle capable of being mounted in the mounting space of a conventional shock absorbing and damping arrangement without spending a high structural cost, and preventing the occurrence of friction accompanied by a noise problem especially under non-lubrication. SOLUTION: The pneumatic shock absorbing and damping arrangement 100 is provided with two air springs 101 and 102. The air springs can be rolled along rolling guides and the connected to each other by a throttle mechanism 108 capable being connected in two directions. An upper cover 104 of the first air spring 101 is coupled to a lower rolling piston 128 of the second air spring 102 by a coupling element, and a cover 107 for the second air spring is coupled to a fixing element 132. A coupling element between the upper cover 104 of the first air spring and the rolling piston 128 of the second air spring is extended to outsides of the two air springs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
