PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by inhibiting a functional plate material from being broken against impact in a radioactive substance storage basket and a radioactive substance storage container.SOLUTION: A radioactive substance storage basket is characterized in that a plurality of plate materials 43 are arranged at a predetermined interval in the plate thickness direction, and a plurality of radioactive substance storage parts 42 are demarcated by being arranged so as to be intersected with each other in the height direction and being assembled via mutual notches, a plate material 43 is constituted by overlapping a rigid plate material 51 composed of a strength member and a functional plate material 52 composed of a neutron absorber in the plate thickness direction, and a first notch 55 is provided as a regulation part which regulates movement in the plate thickness direction of the rigid plate material 51 assembled into the rigid plate material 51 in the height direction. |
