DOMAIN NAME SYSTEM SPOOFING METHOD IN LOCAL NETWORK AND LOCAL NETWORK SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A DNS(Domain Name System) spoofing method in a local network and local network system using the same are provided to access local network devices that are not registered in a DNS server by using domain names from IP addresses in the local network, thereby communicating with the network devices by using the domain names. CONSTITUTION: A local network gateway designates domain names in correspondence with IP addresses assigned to each local network device that is not registered in a DNS server(300-312). If a DNS inquiry packet is received(304), the gateway confirms a domain name included in the DNS inquiry packet(306). The gateway confirms whether the domain name included in the DNS inquiry packet is registered(308). If not, the gateway changes the DNS inquiry packet into a DNS response packet including an IP address corresponding to the domain name(310).
