PURPOSE: A heat transfer prepreg is provided, which does not require excessive grinding process by displaying various colors and patterns on the coating layer as forming heat transfer coating layer on the surface of the prepreg and minimizes drop of product mechanical strength by performing grinding operation as substantially lowering loss amount of reinforce fiber layer and enabling additional painting operation. CONSTITUTION: The heat transfer prepreg is characterized in that heat transfer coating layer is formed on the surface of prepreg, wherein reinforced fiber is impregnated with thermosetting resin, wherein glass fiber scrim layer is formed on the heat transfer coating layer, and wherein content of the thermosetting resin is 15 to 70 wt.%. The manufacturing of heat transfer prepreg comprises the process of heat transferring a heat transfer coating layer on the thermosetting resin impregnated reinforced fiber by closely adhering a heat transfer film onto the thermosetting resin impregnated reinforced fiber after impregnating reinforced fiber with thermosetting resin, wherein temperature range during heat transferring is 10 to 150 deg.C, and wherein the manufacturing process comprises the steps of injecting resin film(2) coated with epoxy resin onto upper and lower sides of carbon fiber(1); pressing and heating the carbon fiber and resin film so that epoxy resin is penetrated into the carbon fiber to obtain a prepreg having carbon fiber weight of 125 g/m¬2 and containing epoxy resin content of 37 wt.%; injecting a heat transfer film(3) onto the prepreg, and setting a temperature for transferring a heat transfer coating layer to 130 deg.C; and transferring the coating layer onto the prepreg, and manufacturing a heat transfer prepreg(4) after removing the film.
