The coupling muff on the outer circumference has axially extending and elastically flexible locking tongues (10,11) which are each supported on a bearing protrusion (14) inside the axial distance between their root and locking nose (12). The locking noses are formed from the wall of a tubular outer section (15) and with the exception of the tongue roots are each encompassed by a clear gap (17) defining the tongue outline shape, whereby the bearing protrusions for the locking tongues are arranged on an inner section (16) of the coupling muff.
