<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous carbon molding which has only a small inner residual stress due to processing to a complicated shape, shows a very low frequency of occurrence of cracking or rupture during carbonization baking and is excellent in dimensional accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The amorphous carbon molding is obtained by molding a resin composition in which a thermosetting resin that is a matrix raw material is mixed with a carbonaceous material as a filler into a plate or a sheet having projections and depressions on the surface by embossing, punching or cutting the periphery of the embossed workpiece or a part thereof, and subjecting the resultant molding to carbonization baking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
