<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method capable of removing a polyester resin from a polyester resin-stuck member safely wherein generation of waste is little. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin-stuck metallic member is cleaned by putting the metallic member in a heatable cleaning tank provided with a reflux condenser and removing the stuck polyester resin by depolymerizing the polyester resin in the presence of ethylene glycol and a depolymerization catalyst while boiling ethylene glycol under normal or pressurized atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
