PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a data transfer speed of nozzles in a limited space of a printing head. SOLUTION: The printing head 105 for applying a mark on a medium 106 is provided, which includes one or more printing components 141 capable of selectively starting to apply the mark on the medium, and a photoelectric detector 109 which is coupled to the one or more printing components so as to control the start of the printing components during a printing operation, thereby applying the mark 110 of a predetermined pattern onto the medium by the printing components.
