PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig board capable of reducing polishing failure of an end surface of a ferrule by certainly polishing the end surfaces of a large number of the ferrules. SOLUTION: This jig board 10 to be arranged to face against a polishing board on an end surface polishing board furnished with the polishing board to polish an end surface of a cylindrical body for the ferrule to hold a head end part of an optical fiber is furnished with a jig board main body 13 having a plurality of holding parts to hold only the head end part of the cylindrical body of the ferrule of a ferrule assembly body 12 having the cylindrical body for the ferrule in a state of projecting it to the side of the polishing board, a holding member 14 to hold the ferrule assembly body 12 on the holding part of which the cylindrical body for the ferrule is held as its head end part is projected between itself and the jig board main body 13 and an energizing means 24 to energize the holding member 14 to the side of the jig board main body 13 and to allow movement of the ferrule assembly body 12 in the same direction of the axial direction of the cylindrical body for the ferrule, and accordingly, it can certainly polish the end surface of the head end part of a plurality of the ferrules 11.
