GENERATOR-MULTIPLIER FOR SUPPLY OF BOTTOMHOLE TELEMETERING SYSTEM

FIELD: well drilling; applicable for supply of systems monitoring drilling parameters. SUBSTANCE: generator-multiplier has insert installed in drill pipe string and accommodating generator kinematically connected with multiplier. The latter is connected via coupling with downhole motor bit shaft. Generator has stator with windings and rotor with magnets. Generator rotor is kinematically connected with high-speed shaft of multiplier. Multiplier low-speed shaft is connected with downhole motor bit shaft. Downhole motor is used in form of turbodrill or screw hydraulic downhole motor. Multiplier is made in form of planetary reducing gear having meshed friction disks and provided with high- and low-speed shafts. Multiplier body has windows for passage of drilling mud used as lubricant. Generator upper part may have connecting unit for connection with bottomhole telemetering system, and electrical connector. Coupling is elastic ensuring compensation of precession of downhole motor bit shaft. Generator additionally functions as downhole motor rotation speed pickup.
