<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical diffuser uniformizing the color temperature to the angle by improving optical diffusion of an image illumination light source in order to improve light transmission efficiency and diffuse a specular light source. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical diffuser including a polymer film incorporating micro-voids, the film has diffusion transmission efficiency of at least 65% at 500 nm, and the micro-voids have a size, a shape and a frequency enough to provide an average weighted balanced color temperature variation (ΔT) not exceeding 40°K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
