PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geothermal unit for preventing any ground subsidence, or preventing any problems such as splash and a car accident even when the geothermal unit is applied to snow melting. SOLUTION: This geothermal unit comprises a heat exchanger 1 which is perpendicularly embedded in the ground to collect the geothermal heat by circulating a first heating medium inside thereof, a heat radiation tube 2 to radiate the heat by circulating a second heating medium inside thereof, and a heat pump 3 which is connected to the heat exchanger 1 via a first circulation passage 4, connected to the heat radiation tube 2 via a second circulation passage 5, and has a third circulation passage 6 to circulate a third heating medium inside thereof, absorbs the heat of the first heating medium and raises the second heating medium. The heat radiation tube 2 is used for an air conditioner, a cold-hot water appliance, or a snow-melting appliance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
