PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct displacement of a three-dimensional space specified by the stereo image processing and the real space. SOLUTION: A stereo camera 2 is attached with the visual line of the camera being inclined relative to the horizontal plane for outputting a pair of image data. A stereo image processing part 6 calculates the parallax by the stereo matching based on the pair of image data and outputs the distance data interrelating the parallax group on the image data equivalent to one frame and the coordinate position on the flat plane of the image. An angle detecting part 7 detects the angle of inclination between the horizontal plane and the visual line of the camera. A parallax correcting part 9 calculates the parallax conversion parameter at each coordinate position based on the angle of inclination detected by the angle detecting part 7 and corrects the value of parallax constituting the distance data based on the calculated parallax conversion parameter.
