<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book illegal copy prevention system which can grasp and control the states of copying operations by book bodies by recognizing a book being copied when a user copies the books by oneself. <P>SOLUTION: In the book illegal copy prevention system equipped with a marking which is printed or put on a book and can be read by a machine, a reader which reads the marking, a copying machine, a database which stores copy information for judging whether each book can be copied, a data processor which indicates limits of copying according to the marking and copy information, and a copy limiting device which limits the number of copies taken by the copying machine through the data processor, copies exceeding predetermined conditions are limited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
