<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical joint for a pipe which brings out an excellent transfer suppressing performance of making the displacement in the direction along the axis of the pipe on one side either an upstream side pipe or a downstream side pipe hard to transfer to the other side, and bringing out an excellent effect of making the displacement in the direction that one side either the upstream side or the downstream side apart from the other side hard to transfer to the other side. <P>SOLUTION: The spherical joint 1 for the pipe is equipped with two connection flanges 4, 8 provided on the both connection end part of the upstream side pipe 2 and the downstream side pipe 3, a seal member 13 sliding with the two connection flanges 4, 8 respectively and a joint means 10 jointing together the two connection flanges 4, 8 relatively possible to be displaced. The two connection flanges 4, 8 have the convex type spherical bearing surface 11, 12 toward another side of the connection flange, and the seal member 13 has two concave type spherical seal surfaces 16, 17 corresponding to the two spherical bearing surfaces 11, 12 respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
