<p>An application service environment is provided with an application service extension facility to. facilitate authorized users in extending an application service of the environment. The facility includes a plurality of object components for an authorized user to specify meta definitions defining extension objects. Further, the facility includes two generic extension object classes, one singleton and one collection, each having property values and associated methods to facilitate creation and initialization of instance or instances of the generic object, in accordance with the meta definitions defining an extension object, and to facilitate selective accesses to property values of the instance/instances of the generic object to simulate accesses to data of the extension objects being developed.</p> |
