A photopolymerizable lithographic printing plate having a photosensitive layer containing a photopolymerization initiator, a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond and a polymer binder, and a protective layer provided in this order on a hydrophilic support, wherein an amount of the compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond in the photosensitive layer is from 30% to 70% by weight, and oxygen permeability of the protective layer is from 1x10<-15 >to 1x10<-1 >[cm<3>(STP).cm/cm<2>.sec.cmHg].
