PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire with a reticular layer in a tread groove is provided to increase braking force during traveling on a snowy road, a frozen road or a wet road by forming the reticular layer in the tire tread groove. CONSTITUTION: In a pneumatic tire, a reticular layer(4) is formed in a groove(2) of a tire tread portion(1). The reticular layer is made of material among steel, polyester fiber, nylon, or aramid fiber, and protruded up 1-2 mm on the tread portion of the tire. The reticular layer is formed by inserting 1-2 mm to the tread groove of the tire. The diameter of a string of the reticular layer is 0.1-1.2 mm, and 2-20 nets are arranged within the length of 1 cm of the reticular layer. Traction is improved during traveling on the icy road or the wet road.
