PHASE MODULATOR FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRICAL BEAM TILT AND DOUBLE BAND BASE STATION ANTENNA USING PHASE MODULATOR

PURPOSE: A phase modulator for controlling an electrical beam tilt and a double band base station antenna using the phase modulator are provided to improve the manual inter modulation distortion characteristics by using a strip transmission line of an air layer and a dielectric load. CONSTITUTION: A power distributing unit(21) distributes an electric wave signal inputted from an outside to both directions so as to have a constant signal strength. First and second strip transmitting lines(22,23) transmit the electric wave signal distributed by the power distributing unit(21) to first and second output terminals. A dielectric plate(24) is provided on a predetermined portion of the first and second strip transmitting lines(22,23) in order to displace the phase of the electric wave signal outputted through the first and second output terminals. A sliding bar(25) moves the dielectric plate(24) on the first and second strip transmitting lines(22,23) within predetermined distances according to an operation of a user.
