PURPOSE: An apparatus of shaping a glass product for cathode ray tube and a shaping method thereof are provided to shape accurately the glass product by performing a conditioning process for a glass gob in a natural cooling process before shaping the glass gob. CONSTITUTION: A glass gob is loaded on a bottom mold(S100). A conditioning process for the glass gob loaded on the bottom mold is performed(S102) by natural cooling. A glass product is formed by shaping the glass gob conditioned on the bottom mold by means of an upper mold(S104). The glass product is cooled and shaped by blowing the cooling air(S106). The glass product is cooled by blowing the cooling air(S108). The glass product is ejected from the bottom mold(S110). The bottom mold is reset in the state of standby(S112).
