BAG FILTER TYPE DUST COLLECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve cost reduction by incorporating a dioxin removing function due to photocatalytic action in the bag filter type dust collector and to prevent the accumulation of dioxins in a bag filter, in the bag filter type dust collector.

SOLUTION: A bag holding frame 22 is arranged in a bag house 10 and a large number of bag filters 24 are attached to the bag holding frame 22. A suspension of titanium dioxide is infiltrated in and added to the bag filters 24. A lamp support 28 is arranged above the bag filters 24 so as to traverse the bag house and ultraviolet lamps 26 are arranged on the lamp support frame 28 so as to face to the upper end openings 24-1 of the bag filters 24. Ultraviolet rays are introduced into the bag filters 24 from the ultraviolet lamps 26 so as to irradiate the insides of the bag filters 24. Dust is collected by the bag filters 24 and dioxins are removed by photocatalytic reaction at the time of irradiation of titanium dioxide with ultraviolet rays.
