INTRACORPOREAL INSERTION MEDICAL IMPLEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical implement which simultaneously has wetting time lubricity having excellent durability and antibacterial properties irrespective of quality of a base material to the surface of the base material and to provide a method for manufacturing the simple medical implement which can simultaneously impart the wet time lubricity having excellent durability and the antibacterial properties irrespective of the quality of the base material for constituting the medical implement.

SOLUTION: The medical implement which simultaneously has the antibacterial properties and the lubricity at the surface wetting time comprises a crosslinking film on the surface of the base material. An antibacterial substance is bonded to the crosslinking film formed of a polymer having an acid anhydride group, a polymer of a vinyllactam compound and a compound having two or more active hydrogens.
