<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic treatment device capable of rotating a treatment means without forcing an operator to improperly hold the device, by transmitting the torque through a gear mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: This ultrasonic treatment device comprises a main body part 2 having a movable handle 4 and a fixed handle 3, an inserting part 5 rotatably connected to the main body part and inserted into an organism, a treatment means mounted on a tip of the inserting part for treating an organism tissue, driving mechanisms 42, 44 for driving the treatment means by an operating means, a rotating mechanism for transmitting the torque to the inserting part to rotate the inserting part to the main body part, and a rotational operating part 10 for operating the rotating mechanism. The movable handle and the fixed handle are positioned at opposite sides to each other with respect to a longitudinal axis of the inserting part, the rotational operating part is positioned to be simultaneously operated with the handles by one hand, and the rotating mechanism is the gear mechanism 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
