PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing sheet and a dressing method using the same, capable of eliminating the dirt attached to a surface of a roller in a short time, keeping high coefficient of friction of the roller, and preventing the deformation of the roller by swelling. SOLUTION: This dressing sheet 10 comprises a sheet-like base 12, and a dressing part 14 formed on at least one surface of the base 12 and having irregularity. The dressing part 12 of the dressing sheet 10 is closely abutted on a transporting roller which drives a sheet-like medium, to polish a surface of the transporting roller. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
