FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel isothiazole carboxylic acid amides of the formula (I) wherein R is taken among formulas (a) , (b) , (c) , (d) , (i) and (f) wherein R1 means cyano-group, phenyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, cycloheptyl; R2 means and so on; R3 represents alkyl with 1-5 carbon atoms or phenyl that can be substituted if necessary with from mono- to trisubstituted similar or different residues taken among group including fluorine, chlorine, bromine atom and alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms; R10 means fluorine, chlorine, bromine atom, methyl and so on; n means a whole number from 0 to 3 under condition that if n means 2 or 3 then R10 means similar or different residues. Invention relates also to method for preparing isothiazole carboxylic acid amides of the formula (I) by interaction of 3,4-dichloroisothiazole-5-carboxylic acid chloride of the formula (II) and compound of the formula wherein R is indicated above, if necessary, in the presence of acid-binding substance and, if necessary, in the presence of diluting agent. Invention relates also to agent used for protection of plants against damage with undesirable microorganisms and pests of animal origin containing at least one isothiazole carboxylic acid amide of the formula (I) and a filling agent and/or surface-active substance.
