SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes rotation of filter element around its axis at simultaneous delivery of jet of cleaning medium to outer surface. Rate of motion of jet along filter element, zone of treatment and direction of jet ensure maximum force on entire surface, thus enhancing cleaning. Rotation of filter element may be effected by jet.
