PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a gas dynamic pressure bearing capable of reducing the rigidity of the bearing, reducing vibration caused by negative radial rigidity, eliminating the hysteresis loss of iron and excessive current loss, significantly reducing magnetic vibration and noise, reducing bearing loss, attaining high rotational speed, and reducing energy loss by constituting the motor so as not to be affected by a harmful force applied to the shaft and a sleeve of the bearing from a magnetic circuit for generating a rotational force. SOLUTION: This motor with the gas dynamic pressure bearing is constituted of a base plate, a shaft fixed so as to be protruded upward from the roughly central part of the base plate, a sleeve disposed at the outer periphery of the shaft through a gas area, a rotor attached with a permanent magnet at the outer periphery of the sleeve, and a coil attached at the base plate so as to be positioned at the outer periphery of the rotor.
