PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker apparatus capable of remarkably prolonging its service life by preventing forming of a bend on an edge portion to prevent concentration of stress on driving a diaphragm. SOLUTION: The edge portion 17 is provided between a fixing seat portion 16 formed on an opening edge portion of a speaker frame 6 (refer to Fig. 4) and the diaphragm 10 (refer to Fig. 4). The portion 16 is wholly formed by a circular wide groove, and its cross-sectional shape is an arcuate concave surface, and a first curved portion 17a of the portion 17 is fixed on its top surface via an adhesive layer 18. The portion 17 formed by smoothly connecting the first curved portion 17a which is convex downward and a second curved portion 17b which is convex upward, the bottom surface of the portion 17a is fixed on the portion 16 via the layer 18, and the bottom surface of the tip of the portion 17b is fixed on the peripheral portion of the diaphragm 10 via an adhesive layer 19.
