<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact fluorescent lamp where a bent fluorescent tube is thermally coupled with a globe through a heat-conductive resin such as silicon resin, and which keeps appearance well even if the heat-conductive resin ripples to wet the inside surface of the globe. <P>SOLUTION: The outside surface of a globe 5 is frost-treated so as to be provided with a light scattering layer. Even if the inside surface of the globe 5 ripples with the heat-conductive resin to go into a wet condition, the light which has transmitted through the globe 5 is scattered at the light scattering layer. So the border line of the rippling wet region is hard to tell apart, keeping the appearance of the compact fluorescent lamp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
