PURPOSE: An optical connector using a cut sleeve and an optical condenser lens is provided, which has optimum optical loss without using ferrule requiring high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A groove is formed in a sleeve having a fixed length so that a lens of an input part and a lens of an output part are to be inserted into the sleeve. The lens is used to make light transmission easier in the sleeve. The sleeve is cylindrical. Input/output optical fiber ferrule(20,21) are inserted in the sleeve and comprises ferrule stop parts.
