METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ACTIVE CARBON PAPER

PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing an active carbon paper is provided to uniformly implant active carbon into a paper fiber as well as have absorption of toxic substance, anti-oxidant effect, moisture removal, deodorization and antimicrobial effect. CONSTITUTION: The method of manufacturing an active carbon paper comprises the steps of: dissociating 40-65 wt.% of pulp in water in a concentration of 2-5%, and stirring it for 20-30 minutes; cutting and fibrillating the stirred pulp using a beater; adding 5-10 wt.% of login and 5-10 wt.% of gelatin to the beaten pulp as a sizing agent; mixing 20-50 wt.% of active carbon, 1-2 wt.% of polyacrylamide and 1-2 wt.% of melamine formaldehyde resin with the sized pulp; screening the mixture to remove alien materials therefrom; and pressurizing and drying the screened mixture with a paper machine.
