PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting design of electric circuit by which creation of an electric circuit diagram and a control cable laying diagram is easy when these diagrams are created, with high quality and the electric circuit is efficiently designed. SOLUTION: The device for supporting design of electric circuit is provided with a circuit diagram creation means for creating the electric circuit diagram, an attribute list storage means for storing a list of attributes of a conductive line for connecting the attributes of circuit elements constituting the electric circuit diagram with the circuit elements, a rule/reference value storage means for storing rules and/or reference values of the circuit elements constituting the electric circuit diagram and the conductive line, a circuit evaluation means for evaluating whether or not the electric circuit diagram created by the circuit diagram creation means is appropriate by collating it with the attribute list and rules and/or the reference values and a display means for displaying evaluation results by the circuit evaluation means.
