PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval and providing device and method for providing coherent information by a simple operation, and providing not only core information but also peripheral information. SOLUTION: A keyword retrieval part 16 retrieves a new database 15 according to a retrieval keyword and a retrieval sub-keyword registered in a retrieval keyword database 17 notifies a Web page preparing part 18 of the pertinent news, retrieves the retrieval keyword database 17 on the basis of a keyword extracted by a keyword extracting part 14, and notifies the Web page preparing part 18 of the user of pertinent user registration data.
