<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable aerial terminating joint which does not enlarge and does not change its external appearance, and can suppress the increase of the internal pressure of a porcelain tube even if the level of insulating oil within the porcelain tube goes up. <P>SOLUTION: A cable aerial terminating joint is constituted by storing a cable terminal 1 in porcelain tube 2, charging the upper part of the ceramic tube 2 with the insulating oil 12 and gas 8, and providing a shield 22 for field relaxation above the tube 2. A gas reservoir 21 leading to the inside of the tube 2 is provided so as to be settled within the shield 22 for field relaxation, at the top of the tube 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
