From the ceiling (13) of a building are suspended hangers (16). These support longitudinal battens (14) on which at intervals rest transverse battens (21) carrying electric cables (22). The longitudinal batten form slide rails (23) from which fillets (20) are suspended. Between the fillets flexible ceiling panels are secured. The fillets slide back along the rails, the flexible panels folding into loops between the fillets.
